আসিফের টাকার পরিমাণ (x - y) এবং
আরাফাতের টাকার পরিমাণ (x + y)
আরাফাত 10 ঘন্টা কাজ করে পায় x + y টাকা
আরাফাত 1 ঘন্টা কাজ করে পায় (x + y)/10 টাকা
অপরদিকে,
আসিফ 8 ঘন্টা কাজ করে পাই x - y টাকা
আসিফ 1 ঘন্টা কাজ করে পাই ( x - y)/8 টাকা
শর্তমত, (x + y)/10 = (x - y)/8
10x - 10y = 8x + 8y
2x = 18y
x = 9y
